Julie has practised yoga for over 15 years and is a fully qualified, insured and REPs registered yoga teacher from Bramhall, Stockport. With a sporting coaching background and qualifications in coaching running and triathlon, Julie is a highly experienced sports coach.  Julie coached a group of runners at Stockport Harriers for 5 years, is the founder and head coach of Bramhall Runners which she set up in 2012. She helped set up Stockport Tri Club in August 2014. Julie coaches at Bramhall Runners and Stockport Tri club throughout the week and holds the title of Stockport Coach of the Year 2012.  When Julie is not teaching, she enjoys listening to music, reading, walking, running, swimming and practising yoga.

Julie completed her 200 hour Level 3 teacher training with Conrad Paul of Yoga Professionals and the Sivananda lineage.  Also a qualified NLP Practitioner, Julie understands completely the benefits of having a strong body and a strong mind to help achieve sporting related targets and success. With a high appreciation for yoga philosophy, Julie’s yoga classes also teach relaxation, breathing techniques and meditation.

Julie offers weekly drop in classes. There are 2 traditional Hatha yoga class each week based on the Sivananda lineage. Julie attended the Sivananda ashram in Austria in August 2016 and felt the benefits of following a structured, balanced sequence. There are also 2 Yoga for Sports, core strength classes which focus on keeping the body moving, keeping the joints young and staying supple and strong.

Personal one to one or group yoga classes are available.  Contact Julie directly to arrange a block of sessions for your personalised yoga routine. Alternatively Julie offers a personal one off class so you can learn a particular sequence for you to practice yourself at home.

This level of training builds endurance, speed, improves running technique, running strength and improves your core strength. Julie’s expertise in running and triathlon can help you become an overall stronger athlete and enable you to reach your own personal goal whether it be completing a 5k, marathon, first triathlon or Ironman.


Ideal for the athlete looking for an individualised training plan, without the ongoing commitment of working with a coach week-by-week.

Beginning with an athlete profile questionnaire to gather relevant information, Julie creates an individual training programme depending on hours available to train. The plan includes session-by-session detail, including recovery sessions and target training paces according to your goal and ability.
